N.A.M.C.C Rally Time Trial at Nutts Corner

RALLY GOING NUTTS AT THE CORNER.

 

North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club held their annual rally time trial at nutts corner on Saturday 31^st October. The years event this was sponsored by Coulter Demolition & Recycling.

  Rally Action started at 10am with each car allowed one practise with up to five timed runs and the winner will be the competitor who sets the fastest of any of their timed runs. The course for these runs featured was a 1.7 mile stage, with competitors completing almost two laps of the nutts corner raceway taking two sections of the gravel used by the rally cross and the remainder tarmac.

    This years event was dominated by MKll Escorts claiming the top three places first was Lisburns Wesley Patterson in his 2.5L Ford Escort MKll RS, second was James Kennedy in his 2.0L Mkll Escort, third was John Waring in his 2.4L Mkll Escort and four was Gareth Sayers in his 1.4L Vauxhall Nova.
