Autofashion Rally Challenge Sunday 11th October attracts top entries

Autofashion Rally Challenge Sunday 11th October attracted many top entries, the entry included 15 top rear wheel drive cars with no less than twelve of the country’s fastests mark 2 Escorts , 15 4wd cars including seven WRC cars.

Autofashion Rally Challenge
The rally challenge format consisted of one warm up stage of 5 laps, then 4 stages each stage again 5 laps of Nutts Corner including the two loose sections. Rally cars started in groups of five each car spaced by ten seconds.

 The two wheel drive was won by Drew Stewart, second was Derek Gurney, third was James Kennedy and  Fourth was Martin Teggart,

4WD was won by Gary White , 2nd was Mark Doyle, 3rd was Derek McGeehan and 4th was Mark Massey.

This new rally challenge format is with out doubt turning into one of Northern Ireland’s greatest rallysport spectating events of the 2009 season. Autofashion.ie sponsored this event and all praise given to Gary Mc Evoy, rally challenge events are planned later in the season so watch this space.
